My partner and I did the nature reserve tour and had an incredible time! Caesar was our tour guide and he was amazing! The tour was equally educational and experiential, which we loved. There was a family with young children on our tour and Caesar made it fun for them and us adults. Extremely accommodating- to the point where we were even given a ride into town to catch the colectivo. From the education on the natural habitats, the gorgeous cenote, and the hands on experience with the animals - This experience was our favorite from our time in Tulum! Highly recommend giving them a visit!

I didn’t stay here so can’t comment on the rooms. We did take the four hour tour of the site and animal rescue center. It was well worth a day. The tour starts at the glamping site with an interpretive walk ending at a beautiful open air Cenote where the little fish will come and nibble at your feet. Then a 20 min ride to the rescue center to see and learn about the birds and animals as well as stingless jungle bees. Ending with a swim in an underground Cenote. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. Overall a great day.

Cesar was an AWESOME tour guide and we felt like we seriously got our money’s worth with the animal tour and cenote visit. He was super funny and was so knowledgeable about the local plants and the animals and you could feel how passionate he was about rehabilitating animals and returning them to the wild with every word. We had a honey tasting afterward and it was SO different from the taste of the honey you can have in the US. The food at the restaurant was also awesome. Cannot recommend enough!

We did not stay at the camping but we did the rescue tour with cesar. We saw the flore of this part of the jungle and then went to the rescue center. We saw a lot of animals and cesar is really passionate about his job and the animals. The experience was awesome ! It's a must do !

We just did the tour yesterday. It was so worth it. Seeing the wild animals was price less (monkeys, boa, bees, turtle, parrots, deer, and so many others). They have a rehabilitation center where you get to touch some of them. Our guide was Cesar. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, caring, and funny. And the end we got to cool down in a cenote. So beautiful. If you go make sure to bring snacks and water. The tour is long and it’s hot

We took part in the tour of the animal sanctuary. Cesar was our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and obviously has a love for the wildlife. All proceeds from the tours, honey sales, & glamping stays goes to the upkeep and preservation of the animal sanctuary. I highly recommend taking this tour!

TLDR: Sanctuary tour is a must for all!! If staying there, be aware there will be construction noise - bring ear plugs. — Stayed for 2 nights as a solo woman. Felt very safe. Loved the “tents” with electricity and a fan. Also loved the outdoor toilet and shower with hot water. There will be mosquitos and other insects. This is in fact glamorous camping and it’s awesome. Sadly, as others shared, the Mayan train is under construction nearby and quite noisy 24/7. I’m from NYC and didn’t mind the noise during the day. But the noise at night was a surprise and did interfere with sleep. They offered to make it right with a partial refund. I didn’t take them up on their offer becasue 1) the construction wasn’t as bad the second day/night (or maybe I just got used to it) 2) their grounds + sanctuary are magical and I wanted to support them financially. I don’t regret staying here at all. In fact, I’d love to come back in the future. I HIGHLY recommend taking the animal sanctuary tour (whether or not you stay there). It’s a 4/4.5 hour tour of the glamping grounds and the sanctuary, which is deeper in the jungle (no construction noise). Our guide, Ceasar, was knowledgeable and friendly, seeing and interacting with the animals was fun, and swimming in the huge underground cenote was an experience of a lifetime. I will gladly come back!
